Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Snyder with a lazy takedown attempt and Bomba counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Snyder is pressed up against the cage. Bomba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Snyder down to the mat. Snyder avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Snyder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bomba counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bomba jumps guard.
Bomba controls Snyder momentarily but Snyder frees himself. Bomba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Snyder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snyder passes Bomba's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snyder trying to mount his opponent but Bomba defends it. That's one minute gone in the round. Snyder tries for a kimura but Bomba is defending well. Snyder tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Snyder working away. Snyder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bomba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Snyder works to advance to full mount. Bomba defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Score +2 for reaching mount: Snyder (5) vs (0) Bomba Snyder throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bomba has his hands clasped together but Snyder breaks the hold and Bomba is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Snyder!
