The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Cartier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glass swivels and escapes.
Glass is looking to counter the offense by Cartier and move into the clinch.
Cartier shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Glass sprawls well. Glass wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cartier gets slowly back to his feet.
Glass tries to counter by clinching up but Cartier breaks away and moves out of range.
Glass leaves Cartier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Glass tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Cartier manages to circle out of the way.
Richard Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Cartier.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cartier looking to hit a scissor sweep but Glass is one step ahead there.
Glass trying to control the position from guard on top but Cartier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Glass has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Cartier keeping moving, preventing Glass from controlling successfully.
Cartier is controlling Glass's posture.

Cartier wants to sweep but no luck.

Cartier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Glass defends well.

Cartier is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Glass has his hands clasped together but Cartier extends and breaks Glass's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Cartier.
