The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Haelfson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Haelfson tries to keep at a distance but Gabasa has taken the fight into the clinch. Haelfson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gabasa prevents it.

Gabasa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Haelfson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gabasa has managed to get both his arms back between Haelfson's legs - danger averted.
