Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yurij Stasyuk (ranked 4683 p4p, 5774 weight class) and Stony Marciano (ranked 526 p4p, 569 weight class). Marciano has chosen IQ 98 as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yurij Stasyuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stony Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stasyuk doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Marciano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Stasyuk fails with a takedown attempt.
Marciano unleashes a big counter combination but Stasyuk bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Marciano.
Marciano lands a left and a right that send Stasyuk crashing to the mat, dazed. Marciano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stasyuk is rocked!
Stasyuk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marciano circles away.
Oh Stasyuk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yurij Stasyuk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marciano scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

letting Marciano counter with a right hand.
Marciano lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stasyuk with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Marciano to counter with a crisp jab.
Marciano batters Stasyuk with a massive right followed by a huge left! Stasyuk is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Marciano lands a final crushing right hand to drop Stasyuk to the mat with a gruesome thud! Marciano is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Stony Marciano!
A very excited looking Stony Marciano rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
