Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Lisboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Urso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lisboa comes to the cage accompanied by Ratamahatta. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Lisboa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Urso! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urso has taken the fight to the clinch.
Urso is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lisboa can't fight it off and eventually Urso manages to take the fight to the floor. Lisboa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lisboa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Urso is one step ahead there. Lisboa looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Urso throws a strike but Lisboa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urso is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Urso working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lisboa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lisboa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Urso not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Urso trying to strike off his back.
Lisboa looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lisboa stands up and waves to Urso to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lisboa forces Urso back against the cage and clinches. Lisboa gets control of Urso's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lisboa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lisboa wants to get back to his feet but Urso is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lisboa trying to control the position.
Urso throws a strike but Lisboa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Urso lands an upkick as Lisboa stands over him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lisboa scoring with some ground and pound. Lisboa preventing the sweep. Urso working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Lisboa has passed into half guard!
Urso wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pedro Lisboa will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lisboa moves out of range as Urso throws a body kick.
Lisboa moves into the clinch. Lisboa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lisboa wants to clinch and Urso counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Urso. Lisboa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Urso is one step ahead there. Urso won't allow Lisboa to get back to his feet. Lisboa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urso cracks Lisboa with a solid left hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lisboa wants to stand but Urso is controlling the position. Urso trying to control but Lisboa is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Urso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lisboa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Urso closes the distance and clinches up with Lisboa, looking for a takedown. Urso pushes Lisboa against the cage but Lisboa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Urso fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lisboa is looking to clinch. Urso tries to clinch up and Lisboa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lisboa. Lisboa stopping the sweep attempt from Urso. Lisboa stays in close to Urso's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lisboa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Urso for as long as he can get away with. Lisboa wants to stand but Urso has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Urso is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Urso striking off his back but it's not causing Lisboa any problems. Urso wants to sweep here but Lisboa controlling him for the moment. Lisboa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Pedro Lisboa will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Urso doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lisboa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pedro Lisboa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Urso wants to hit a switch here but Lisboa passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Urso there! Urso bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lisboa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Urso is one step ahead there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lisboa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Urso lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Urso is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Urso postures up in Lisboa's guard and throws a big left but Lisboa blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Urso stands up over Lisboa, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lisboa keeping moving, preventing Urso from controlling successfully. Lisboa trying to keep a closed guard but Urso is proving a slippery customer.
Lisboa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Urso postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urso prevents Lisboa from getting back to his feet. Urso makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Urso clinches with his opponent.
Urso wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lisboa has him pressed against the cage. Lisboa comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Lisboa lands a shot to the body. Lisboa jumps guard.
Urso stops Lisboa from standing up. Urso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Urso trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lisboa seems keen to control Urso's posture. Urso won't allow Lisboa to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lisboa is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Pedro Lisboa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lisboa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
