The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamma gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Creeers to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Creeers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mamma's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Creeers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mamma does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Creeers is looking for a kimura here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mamma tries to get to full guard but Creeers has control of the leg.
Mamma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Creeers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Creeers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mamma is just riding it out for now. Creeers eventually gives up the hold.

Creeers is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Creeers is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mamma has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Creeers throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mamma is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Mamma is controlling an arm, preventing Creeers from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Creeers has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Creeers is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mamma!
Mamma wants to hold on but Creeers pushes him away.
Creeers wants to control the pace but Mamma is squirming around nicely.
Mamma keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mamma reaches up to try and control the position but Creeers seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mamma rolls and tries to escape and now Creeers has his back!

Mamma is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Mamma tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Mamma won't enjoy being in this position. Creeers looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Mamma is tapping - it's over boys! Creeers picks up the submission victory!

Jeepers Creeers decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
