Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tokoni Soaki (ranked 469 p4p, 752 weight class) and Jack Bruce (ranked 26 p4p, 40 weight class). Soaki comes into the arena with Shepherds Reign - Le Manu blaring out of the sound system. Jack Bruce has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tokoni Soaki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tokoni Soaki! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Bruce! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bruce swings for the body but Soaki moves out of range.
Soaki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bruce tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Soaki was well out of range. Poor timing from Bruce. Soaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Soaki is looking to counter punch. Bruce fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Tokoni Soaki has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soaki slips a jab and a cross from Bruce.
Soaki attempts a counter takedown but Bruce avoids it well and moves away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Soaki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruce lands with a nice body punch. Bruce throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Soaki changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The crowd cheers as Bruce lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soaki doesn't seem phased though. Bruce is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Bruce drops Soaki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Soaki looks back up at him and smiles so Bruce waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Soaki is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Soaki's head, knocking him out cold! Bruce is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Bruce! Jack Bruce is the new super heavyweight champion! A relieved looking Jack Bruce thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Tokoni Soaki stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.
And to everyone in my division, Teke lava tauolunga mo au? (Do you wanna Dance with me?)'.
