The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ning has managed to clinch.

Kortenhorst has Ning pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kortenhorst pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ning tumbling to the mat - Kortenhorst dives into Ning 's guard.
Kortenhorst slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ning is trying to improve his position.
Kortenhorst trying to control the position but Ning is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kortenhorst is working to tighten his grip on Ning 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ning has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kortenhorst is really squeezing tight and eventually Ning passes out! Kortenhorst breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A very excited looking Michiel Kortenhorst rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
