Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roid Rager I (ranked 2144 p4p, 3052 weight class) and Scott Shotz (ranked 281 p4p, 377 weight class). Roid Rager I has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roid Rager I! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scott Shotz! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shotz misses with a body punch
and Rager I counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shotz connects with the punch. Nice body punch from Shotz. Rager I paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shotz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Shotz throws a right hand that misses
letting Rager I counter with a right hand. Shotz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Scott Shotz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shotz misses with a double jab
enabling Rager I to counter with a crisp jab. Shotz fails in his attempt to clinch. Rager I keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shotz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shotz misses with a double jab
and Rager I connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rager I takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shotz ducks under a wild hook from Rager I.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shotz's corner calls for a 1-2. Shotz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Shotz throws an off balance right hand
and Rager I counters with a nice uppercut. A looping hook to the body misses from Shotz. Rager I does a little dance to reset his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Rager I misses the target. Rager I tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shotz was well out of range. Poor timing from Rager I. Rager I is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Rager I blocks a jab. Rager I appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Shotz pushes Rager I up against the cage in a clinch. Shotz is leaning against Rager I and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Rager I breaks from the clinch.
Shotz tests Rager I's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shotz misses with a left hand and Rager I connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Shotz connects with a single shot there. Rager I looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. A decent looking cross lands there for Shotz.
Rager I is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shotz drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rager I right on the button. Rager I goes down! Shotz follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Shotz gets the win via TKO!
