Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rip Wheeler (ranked 4342 p4p, 6112 weight class) and Hope Restless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rip Wheeler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hope Restless! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wheeler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Restless wants to get back to full guard. Wheeler working Restless over with strikes. Wheeler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wheeler controlling the pace. Restless is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wheeler wants to pass to mount but Restless is defending the position. Wheeler working Restless over with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wheeler is controlling the pace.
Wheeler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Restless defends it well. Wheeler prevents Restless from improving his position. Wheeler tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Restless.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wheeler wants to free his trapped foot but Restless is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wheeler sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wheeler is looking for a kimura but Restless is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wheeler to get the leverage. Wheeler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Restless on the ground. Wheeler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Restless with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wheeler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wheeler is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Restless has managed to free his arm - good work. Wheeler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Restless has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wheeler is working away from the top position though. Wheeler looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Restless has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wheeler has picked Restless up - he's going for a ride! Wheeler dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Wheeler goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Restless does a handstand and catches Wheeler in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Restless on top - Wheeler is already out from the submission! Restless gives Wheeler's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (TDPW) . Hope Restless!
