Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24240 p4p, 24577 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Libat has his takedown stuffed
and Nada counters with a two punch combo.
Libat stuffs the takedown.
Libat is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Libat scores with a takedown into Nada's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nada is adopting a defensive guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Libat seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nada has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Nada being controlled here, momentarily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Libat shoots in for a takedown but Nada shows good takedown defense.
Nada is trying to counter with his kicks.
Nada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Libat defends it nicely.
And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it.

Nada is taking a breather. Libat says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense.
Nada fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Libat. No joy for Nada on that attempt.
It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there.
Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A lull in the action here as Nada stalls from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Libat closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nada's guard.

Libat's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Nada is pulling down on Libat's head. It's preventing any offense from Libat, at least for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Libat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Nada controlling the position.
Libat trying to control the position from guard on top but Nada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Higanti Libat dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Libat shoots in but Nada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nada throws a nice inside leg kick.

Libat shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nada napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nada seems a little lost for a moment, as Libat dominates the positioning.
Libat looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Nada is avoiding damage well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nada manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Nada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Libat seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nada looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Libat is fending him off so far but Nada persists. Nope, Libat circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Way Nada.
Well Nada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
