The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Mondragon closes the distance and clinches.
Savkov's coach down at Rivers Edge Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Savkov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Mondragon has Savkov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mondragon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Savkov tumbling to the mat - Mondragon dives into Savkov's guard.

Savkov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mondragon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Mondragon is looking for a sweep. Savkov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
