Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Mallin (ranked 4455 p4p, 2892 weight class) and Marco Jansen (ranked 573 p4p, 430 weight class). Marco Jansen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jansen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jansen connects with a body shot.
Mallin looks to throw a body kick
enabling Jansen to counter with a crisp jab.
Jansen lands a nice shot that snaps Mallin's head back.
Mallin tries to clinch but Jansen moves out of range.
Mallin is looking to land body kicks.
Mallin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Jansen counters with a left to the body.
Jansen slips a straight right by Mallin.

Dexter Mallin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mallin tries to clinch but Jansen moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jansen lunges at Mallin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mallin's hand.
Mallin walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Jansen ! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
