Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pjiotr Janda (ranked 4954 p4p, 6152 weight class) and Chinweike Idowu (ranked 481 p4p, 532 weight class). Pjiotr Janda had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pjiotr Janda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chinweike Idowu!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janda throws a head kick but Idowu moves out of range.
Idowu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Janda misses with a low kick.
Idowu tries to counter with a clinch but Janda shakes him off and moves away.
Idowu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Janda fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Idowu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Janda's waist but Janda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Idowu off to one side.
Janda throws a sloppy head kick and Idowu moves out of range easily.
Idowu tries to counter by closing the distance.
Janda lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Chinweike Idowu has been cut.
Janda tries a head kick but it misses.
Janda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Idowu tries to clinch but Janda moves out of range.
Idowu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Janda counters with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Idowu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Janda as he avoids it easily.
Pjiotr Janda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chinweike Idowu.
Janda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Janda as Idowu shoots in.
Janda throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Janda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Idowu forces Janda back against the cage and clinches.

Idowu breaks the clinch.
Janda takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Janda lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Idowu throws a series of punches but Janda moves out of range.
Janda throws a head kick but Idowu moves out of range.
Idowu misses with a takedown attempt
and Janda counters with a slapping leg kick.
Idowu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Janda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Idowu looks winded!
Janda scores with a head kick. Idowu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A slapping body kick lands there for Janda.
Janda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Idowu. That did some damage!
Idowu shoots in for a takedown but Janda shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Janda lands a nice leg kick that just misses Idowu's sensitive parts.
Idowu takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Janda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Idowu. That did some damage!

Janda throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Idowu stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Janda follows into mount!

Idowu is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Janda get's back to his feet.
Idowu is still on wobbly legs! Can Janda finish him?
Janda keeps Idowu at a distance using the push kick.
Idowu seems to have recovered his senses.
Janda lands a brutal head kick. Idowu looks out on his feet and Janda throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
