Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stefano Bambino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fyodor Zakrov!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambino scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Zakrov gets tackled into the cage by Bambino. Bambino maintains the clinch.
Bambino manages to break the clinch.
Bambino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zakrov wants to control but Bambino postures up.
Zakrov gets back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Zakrov has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bambino is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Bambino will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Zakrov up against the cage.

Bambino's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Zakrov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bambino fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bambino works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Zakrov closes the distance and clinches up with Bambino, looking for a takedown. Zakrov pushes Bambino against the cage but Bambino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stefano Bambino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fyodor Zakrov.

Bambino shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zakrov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Zakrov sneaks out the side door and pushes Bambino away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zakrov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Zakrov is breathing heavily.
Bambino looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zakrov!

Bambino rushes Zakrov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bambino sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Zakrov's guard.

Zakrov has his foot on Bambino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bambino works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stefano Bambino will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Zakrov shoots in but Bambino avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bambino is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Zakrov can't fight it off and eventually Bambino manages to take the fight to the floor. Zakrov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Zakrov pushes Bambino off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Zakrov is looking for a sweep. Bambino is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bambino connects with a nice short shot to Zakrov's temple.
Bambino tries to stand and escape but Zakrov is controlling the position.
Zakrov is defending against the submission attempts here by Bambino.
Zakrov wants to control but Bambino is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Zakrov wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bambino looking to score a takedown here. Zakrov is defending well but Bambino drives through and ends up in Zakrov's guard.
Zakrov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zakrov has his hands on Bambino's head, controlling the position.
Bambino looking to sit in guard and control but Zakrov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Zakrov throws a strike but Bambino rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bambino gets to his feet. Zakrov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Zakrov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bambino to score an easy takedown into full guard.
