Liddell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DMX - Its dark and hell is hot. juan sanchez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Liddell is just out of range.
Liddell cracks sanchez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like juan sanchez has been cut.
Liddell stuffs the takedown.

sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

sanchez wants to work for an arm triangle but Liddell is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
sanchez works his foot free and advances to mount.
Liddell is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Liddell tries to hold on but sanchez pushes him away.
Liddell bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Liddell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of sanchez is proving hard to escape from.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell stays in close to sanchez's body and controls the position.
sanchez trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Liddell defends well.

sanchez has his foot on Liddell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Liddell works his way back into a safe position though.
Liddell content to stall in guard here.

Liddell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
sanchez scores with a leg kick.

sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.
Quinton Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
sanchez goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick misses from sanchez.
sanchez lands a brutal head kick. Liddell looks out on his feet and sanchez throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
