Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terry Ryan (ranked 5520 p4p, 24849 weight class) and Asim Germic (ranked 502 p4p, 553 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terry Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asim Germic!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Germic thuds a left hand into Ryan's body.
Ryan misses with a left hand
and Germic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Germic feints a jab promting Ryan to slip. Germic then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ryan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ryan clinches up against the cage.
Germic working hard to break the clinch.
Germic scores a nice knee to the body.
Ryan lands a takedown into guard.
Ryan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've been hearing good reports from Ryan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Ryan throwing strikes from guard but Germic blocks nicely.
Germic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ryan controls the pace.
Ryan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Germic wants to get back to his feet but Ryan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ryan is standing up over Germic. Germic looks to escape but Ryan dives into side control.
Germic is pushing Ryan's head away, looking to escape. Ryan manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Germic is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Ryan moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Ryan throws an elbow but Germic slips to the side and avoids it well.

Ryan has an Americana. Germic didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ryan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ryan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
