The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biltong scores with a nice strike.
Pereira lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Biltong throws a left that rocks Pereira and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Biltong dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Pereira regain composure!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Biltong tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Pereira seems to have recovered his senses.
Pereira throws a hook to the side of Biltong 's head but Biltong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Biltong throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pereira tumbling to the canvas!
Biltong tries to stand but Pereira is controlling from the bottom.
Biltong wants to stand and escape but instead Pereira has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Biltong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pereira is controlling him.

Biltong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Biltong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pereira on the wrong end of a nice hook.
