Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Juan (ranked 3605 p4p, 3224 weight class) and Dwalin Broadaxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwalin Broadaxe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don Juan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwalin Broadaxe! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Juan misses and Broadaxe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Broadaxe. Broadaxe content to stall in guard here. Juan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Juan tries to get out of the position. Juan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Broadaxe drops back looking for a leg! Juan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Juan manages to kick Broadaxe off! Broadaxe jumps back into Juan's guard. Broadaxe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Broadaxe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Broadaxe postures up in Juan's guard and throws a big left but Juan blocks it. Juan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Broadaxe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Broadaxe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Juan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Broadaxe's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Broadaxe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Broadaxe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Broadaxe stands up over Juan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Broadaxe controlling from the top position. Broadaxe postures up in Juan's guard and throws a big left but Juan blocks it. Broadaxe scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Juan is trying to keep Broadaxe in close.
Broadaxe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Juan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broadaxe passes easily into side control. Nice work. Broadaxe lands a nice forearm strike. Juan is letting Broadaxe control him for a moment. Juan taking a bit of punishment here - Broadaxe scoring with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Broadaxe is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Juan's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Broadaxe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Broadaxe is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Juan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Broadaxe gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Juan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Broadaxe lets go of the hold and Juan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
