Ferkingstad moves into range and clinches up with Kvinchal.
Kvinchal decides to pull guard. Kvinchal is trying to keep Ferkingstad in close.
Ferkingstad slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kvinchal wants to sweep but no luck.
Kvinchal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ferkingstad sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kvinchal's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferkingstad is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kvinchal sees it coming and defends easily. Ferkingstad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kvinchal keeps working.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kvinchal is looking for a sweep. Ferkingstad is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kvinchal gets back to full guard.

Ferkingstad wants to pass the guard but Kvinchal is keeping the position. Ferkingstad will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferkingstad not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kvinchal pushes a forearm under Ferkingstad's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ferkingstad is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
