The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Davis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davis wants it to stay on the feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Curls has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Davis after a bit of a struggle.
Curls is pressed up against the ropes. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Curls down to the mat. Curls avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Davis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Davis tries to score a body lock takedown but Curls shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
