Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Gauti Geirsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haidar Barante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geirsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fjöllin Hafa vakað. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barante shoots in but no luck this time.

Geirsson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barante's half guard.
Geirsson is thwarting Barante's attempts to control the position.
Barante manages to get to full guard.
Barante is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Geirsson is controlling him.

Barante is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Barante wants to lay and pray for a moment but Geirsson keeps working.
Barante passes the guard and advances to mount!

Geirsson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Geirsson tries to get out of the position.
Barante is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Barante trying to control but Geirsson is having none of it.
Barante prevents Geirsson from getting the reversal.

Barante working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Barante is looking to stand but Barante has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Geirsson is trying to defend against the choke here but Barante has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Barante Tightens the hold and Geirsson taps out furiously! Barante displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
