The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Nathan Robson has been cut.
Grappling scores with the left hand. Robson knows he should have avoided that one.

Grappling wants to stand but Robson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Grappling controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Robson can't keep his opponent in guard - Grappling advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Grappling's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Robson tries to roll over but Grappling keeps him under control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Striker Grappling just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Robson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Striker Grappling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grappling scores with a jab. Robson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Nathan Robson's cut is getting worse.
Grappling lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Grappling cracks a nice hook into Robson's ribs.

Grappling lands with a hook. Robson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Grappling fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Striker Grappling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grappling feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Robson sprawling to the canvas! Robson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Grappling finish him?!
Oh Robson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nathan Robson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Grappling engages and cracks Robson with a massive lead left hook - Robson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Grappling is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
