Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric White (ranked 4543 p4p, 4212 weight class) and Xavier Barthe (ranked 0 p4p, 554 weight class). Xavier Barthe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Xavier Barthe!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barthe misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
White appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barthe.
Barthe has a takedown stuffed.
Eric White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Barthe.
White connects with a body shot.
White changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barthe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

White works Barthe's body with a nice hook.
White looks to land a combination. Barthe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Xavier Barthe has been cut.
Eric White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White lands a big uppercut and Barthe crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Barthe looks OK. White waves Barthe back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White lands with a hook. Barthe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Barthe is rocked!
White fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
White is looking to wear down Barthe with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
White feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Barthe sprawling to the canvas! Barthe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can White finish him?!
Barthe is still on wobbly legs! Can White finish him?
White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barthe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barthe walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from White! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric White!
