This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Raja Silalahi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Hank Robinson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Silalahi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Robinson clinches up with Silalahi and pushes him back against the cage. Robinson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Silalahi (0) vs (4) Robinson Robinson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silalahi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Robinson controls the position. Robinson trying to control the action but Silalahi is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson tries to move to mount but Silalahi blocks the move with his legs. Silalahi is trying to improve his position. My spies in Thunder Gym inform me that Robinson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Silalahi is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silalahi is not content to let Robinson control the position. Robinson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Still in half guard, Robinson seems content to control. Robinson is looking for a kimura but Silalahi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robinson to get the leverage. Robinson is trying to control the action in half guard but Silalahi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silalahi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Robinson is working away from the top position though.

Silalahi pulls Robinson in close to prevent any damage. Robinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Silalahi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silalahi working a defensive guard but Robinson manages to pass into side control anyway.
