The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holyfield throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dempsey punishes Holyfield's body with a nice straight punch.
A shot to the body from Dempsey misses
and Holyfield counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dempsey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Holyfield swings for the body but Dempsey moves out of range.
Dempsey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Holyfield under the eye.
Dempsey jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A combination from Holyfield does no damage.
Holyfield takes one to the chin there.
Dempsey throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dempsey lands a nice shot that snaps Holyfield's head back.
Holyfield is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Holyfield uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dempsey.

Holyfield throws a combination that misses
and Dempsey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dempsey staggers Holyfield with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Holyfield looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Dempsey is victorious!
