Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gene Tunney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wladimir Klitschko!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Tunney.
Klitschko misses with a looping right.
A quick step to the side and Tunney tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Klitschko loads up on a big right hand but Tunney slips the punch.
Tunney has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tunney there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Gene Tunney has been cut.
Klitschko scores with a nice right hand.
Tunney moves out of range of the strikes.
Tunney steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Klitschko.
A looping hook to the body misses from Klitschko. Tunney does a little dance to reset his feet.
Klitschko throws the left hand but Tunney avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Tunney was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Klitschko.
Tunney jabs Klitschko to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Klitschko connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Tunney onto his butt! Tunney bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Klitschko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tunney leaves his chin hanging out and Klitschko seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Tunney crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wladimir Klitschko!
