Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Dragan (ranked 3517 p4p, 3260 weight class) and Sherman Manau (ranked 177 p4p, 164 weight class). Manau has chosen Big Boys as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Viktor Dragan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sherman Manau! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manau throws a right hand that misses
and Dragan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Manau gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Sherman Manau has been cut. Manau misses with a wild combination.

Nice defenses there by Manau. Dragan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Manau on the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manau tests Dragan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Viktor Dragan has been cut. Dragan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A telegraphed right hand from Manau misses the target. Good standup being displayed there by Dragan as he connects with a hook. Dragan is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dragan looks to land a right hand but Manau moved out of range. Dragan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Manau ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Manau misses with a body shot.
A jab lands there for Manau.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manau fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dragan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dragan there as he acknowledges the shot. Dragan throws a jab when Manau was well out of range. Manau swings for the body but Dragan moves out of range.
Manau connects with a body shot. Dragan slips under a jab from Manau. Dragan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Manau's head backwards.
That has opened up Sherman Manau's cut even more. Dragan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Manau defending well as Dragan loads up on a big left hand. Dragan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. The fighters circling - Dragan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A jab from Dragan misses. Dragan misses with a looping right. Sherman Manau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manau lands a left and a right that send Dragan crashing to the mat, dazed. Manau thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manau slips a straight right by Dragan. Manau takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dragan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Dragan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Manau. Manau takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Manau.
Dragan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Dragan dodges the punch combination from Manau.
Dragan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Manau throws out the jab. Manau misses with a combination
and Dragan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Manau throws the left hand but Dragan avoids the punch easily. Manau takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Manau throws a combination that misses and Dragan counters with a straight right hand. Manau throws a hook but Dragan blocks it. Manau misses with a straight right. Dragan missing with a left hand there. Manau was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Manau avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Dragan misses. Dragan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Manau uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dragan. Manau throws a shot from downtown. Dragan moves away and avoids it. Dragan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The cut above Sherman Manau's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Manau looks winded! Dragan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Manau misses with an uppercut
and Manau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dragan throws a jab when Manau was well out of range. Manau looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Manau falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dragan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manau misses with a hook
enabling Dragan to counter with a crisp jab.
Sherman Manau's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. A shot to the liver by Dragan. Beautiful body shot. Dragan connects with the punch. Dragan lands a big uppercut and Manau crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Manau looks OK. Dragan waves Manau back to his feet!
Manau is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dragan closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Manau out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Viktor Dragan! A relieved looking Viktor Dragan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Sherman Manau was interviewed post fight and said 'I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologize. What we came across that day in the woods was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I s'.
