Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ian Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Fingus!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fingus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fingus misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fingus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Walsh drives through with a takedown into Fingus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Walsh passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Fingus tries to escape but Walsh is in control.
Fingus is working to avoid the ground and pound but Walsh connects with a decent elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walsh tries to advance to mount but Fingus denies him.

Walsh tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fingus is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Fingus wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Walsh lands a few punches from side control.
Walsh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Walsh creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Walsh lands a strong strike to the head of Fingus. That's dazed him! Walsh looking to finish here. Fingus is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Walsh lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Our winner, Ian Walsh, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
