Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Wiggim (ranked 4444 p4p, 4371 weight class) and Karl Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 461 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Wiggim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karl Marx! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marx misses with a few strikes there.
Marx pushes Wiggim up against the cage in a clinch. Marx just leaning against Wiggim, taking a breather. Marx turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marx manages to end up in side control. Marx working the ground and pound. Wiggim is trying to control Marx's posture but Marx avoids it. Wiggim is looking to regain half guard here but Marx keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marx just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiggim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Marx wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Marx landing a few strikes. Marx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wiggim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wiggim is trying to get back to half guard. Marx looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marx content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wiggim gets back to half guard. Wiggim is looking for a sweep. Marx is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Marx is taking a breather. Wiggim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Wiggim is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Marx closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wiggim's guard. Wiggim lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Marx is looking for a triangle but Wiggim pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marx wants to stand and escape but Wiggim is having none of it. Wiggim wants to control from the top but Marx keeps moving. Wiggim drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Wiggim as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Marx screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Wiggim! Nice submission victory there!
