Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 24318 p4p, 24417 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Amiga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Amiga jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Amiga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Amiga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Amiga defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Amiga into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Amiga takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Salvacion throws a push kick but Amiga slaps the foot to one side. Salvacion looking to score a takedown here. Amiga is defending well but Salvacion drives through and ends up in Amiga's guard. Amiga wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Salvacion manages to pass to side control. Salvacion controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga controlling the position for now. Amiga trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Salvacion is thwarting Amiga's attempts to control the position. Salvacion is controlling the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Amiga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Salvacion gets the takedown into side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Amiga is trying to control but can't.
Salvacion stalling. Amiga desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side. Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Salvacion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Salvacion is in Amiga's guard. Richard John Salvacion has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Salvacion wants to control from the top but Amiga keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head to control his posture. Salvacion postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Salvacion shoots for a double leg takedown but Amiga sprawls well. He's pushed Salvacion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Amiga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amiga's waist but Amiga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Amiga is looking for a sweep. Salvacion is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Amiga's shoulder. That is not cool. Salvacion in the domination position with Amiga hanging on. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amiga can't do much from the bottom here. Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is trying to escape the position but Salvacion is controlling the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga is looking to regain half guard here but Salvacion keeps moving and retains side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Salvacion just content to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Amiga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Salvacion takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion gets a double leg takedown into Amiga's guard. Kugus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Salvacion winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
