Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nic Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooke Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooke Bond will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nic Bravo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brooke Bond! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bond drives through and clinches with Bravo against the cage.
Bravo has Bond pushed against the cage. Bravo is looking to control Bond's arms but Bond gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bravo has his back to the cage. Bond throws an elbow but it misses.
Bravo blocks the elbow strike.

Bond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bravo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bond wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Bond stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bond clinches up with Bravo and pushes him back against the cage. Bravo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Bravo takes an elbow to the forehead.

Bravo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bond is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bond would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bond preventing the sweep. Bond must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bravo keeping moving, preventing Bond from controlling successfully. Bond wants to stand but Bravo is controlling his posture from full guard. Bravo is trying to keep Bond in close.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bravo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bravo pushes Bond against the cage but Bond circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brooke Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brooke Bond dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nic Bravo's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nic Bravo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
