Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Jam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jam comes into the arena with Transylvania blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Miller's choice of entrance music: Mama said Knock You Out. Bob Jam could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luiz Miller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Jam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luiz Miller! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jam is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Jam circles away and we're back to standing. Jam with a poor takedown and Miller counters by moving into the clinch. Jam wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Miller gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miller slips a nice elbow through Jam's hands, connecting with Jam's forehead. Miller seems to be working for a kimura but Jam defends the submission attempt. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jam doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Jam pushes Miller off and gets back to his feet. Jam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Miller is looking to reverse the position. Jam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Miller tries to buck Jam off but Jam is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jam thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jam decides to stand up, so the ref orders Miller to his feet. Miller clinches. Miller gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jam trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to mount his opponent but Jam defends it. Miller is keen to just control but Jam is a slippery customer. Jam is looking to escape. Jam wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miller moves into range and clinches up with Jam. Miller tries for a takedown but Jam manages to get underhooks.
Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jam pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bob Jam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Miller. Miller fails in his attempt to clinch. Jam misses with a shot to the body and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Miller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jam is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Miller with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Miller looks gassed! Miller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jam pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jam wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Miller has clasped his hands together around Jam's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Miller swings around for an armbar but Jam sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miller's guard. Miller is working an open guard so Jam takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jam misses with a leg kick and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jam's guard now. Jam working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller. Jam is looking for a triangle but Miller pushes his legs off easily.
Miller postures up in Jam's guard and throws a big left but Jam blocks it. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jam is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Miller rolls with it to try and escape but Jam cranks on the arm and Miller is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
