This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 4 losses; Tobi Terrorelli! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Lisko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Terrorelli as he jumps to the side. Terrorelli drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lisko defends it well. Lisko shoots in and gets a takedown into Terrorelli's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lisko (2) vs (0) Terrorelli Terrorelli looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lisko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lisko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lisko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lisko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Terrorelli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lisko has managed to get both his arms back between Terrorelli's legs - danger averted. We've been hearing good reports from Lisko's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Lisko wants to pass the guard but Terrorelli is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lisko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lisko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Terrorelli tries to land a sweep but no joy. Terrorelli is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lisko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Terrorelli to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lisko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Terrorelli pulls down on the head and he's put Lisko to sleep! This one is all over!
