Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuku Onaona (ranked 4449 p4p, 4204 weight class) and Ian Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh fails with a takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Onaona closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Walsh quickly recovers to half guard.
Onaona is keen to just control but Walsh is a slippery customer.

Walsh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Onaona doesn't have the hooks in and Walsh manages to turn into his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Onaona tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Walsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Onaona sprawls well. Onaona wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walsh gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Onaona looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Walsh shoots in looking for a takedown but Onaona manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Walsh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Onaona manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
