Wilkinson comes to the cage accompanied by Hugh and Lisa!. Penn has chosen Morbid Anal Fog - Euronymous Sold Varg A Bunk Eighth as his entrance music. Kent Wilkinson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kent Wilkinson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Glass Penn! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Penn swivels and escapes. Wilkinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Penn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wilkinson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Penn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wilkinson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Penn has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wilkinson but great work by Penn. Wilkinson regains half guard. Wilkinson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Penn is stalling here. Wilkinson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Penn seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wilkinson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Penn tries to buck Wilkinson off but Wilkinson is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn gets back to half guard. Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wilkinson is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkinson seems to be looking for submissions.

Wilkinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wilkinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Penn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wilkinson. Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wilkinson is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wilkinson takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Kent Wilkinson has been cut. Penn looks to land a left hand but Wilkinson moved out of range nicely. Penn misses with a wild combination.
Wilkinson dives in and grabs Penn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes down on Wilkinson's head and hops out. Penn throws a jab but it's blocked by Wilkinson. Glass Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wilkinson shoots in and drives through. Penn sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Wilkinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn moves into range and connects with a jab. Wilkinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penn as he avoids it easily. Wilkinson dodges the punch combination from Penn.
Penn lands a jab to the nose. Penn throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Wilkinson stumbling backwards into the cage! Wilkinson bounces back off the cage towards Penn, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Penn lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Penn celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Glass Penn! Glass Penn is the new heavyweight champion!
