Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Johnson (ranked 3998 p4p, 1877 weight class) and Mad Panda (ranked 318 p4p, 129 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Panda! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda fails with the takedown and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Panda has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Panda fails in his attempt to clinch. We've been told by Johnson's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Panda tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Johnson thuds his right hand into Panda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Mad Panda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Panda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Panda on that attempt. A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. James Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mad Panda. Panda tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a straight right hand.
Panda is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson clobbers Panda with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Panda is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Panda with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a nice body shot. Panda wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Panda seems to have recovered his senses. Panda moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off. Panda tries to clinch but Johnson moves away and Johnson counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Panda badly! He tries to strike back but Johnson puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Panda out cold! Oh man, Panda will never hear the end of this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Johnson! During a confident post fight interview, James Johnson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
