Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Aldean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herio Lupsaka!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupsaka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Aldean's guard.

Lupsaka felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Lupsaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aldean sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lupsaka somewhat.

Lupsaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aldean pinned against the cage. Aldean gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jason Aldean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herio Lupsaka.
Aldean throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Aldean fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lupsaka on the side of the head.

Lupsaka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aldean swivels and escapes.
Lupsaka misses with a takedown attempt - Aldean sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Aldean darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lupsaka tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aldean defends well and Lupsaka ends up having to push Aldean into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looks like Aldean has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Jason Aldean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herio Lupsaka.
Aldean bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lupsaka's head backwards.
Aldean is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lupsaka can do to turn this around?

Lupsaka walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Lupsaka limp body while Aldean jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
