The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Schneider counters with a nice uppercut.

Schneider tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Schneider.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schneider is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!

Jackson rolls, trying to escape but Schneider keeps control of the position.
Schneider has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jackson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Schneider gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

A relieved looking Fred Schneider thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
