The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magoo swings widly with a right hand
and Sheppard counters with a nice uppercut.
Sheppard scores with a jab to the body.
Sheppard throws a body punch but Magoo moves out of range.
Magoo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sheppard to score with a decent uppercut.

Magoo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Magoo clobbers Sheppard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Sheppard is pushing Magoo's head away, looking to escape. Magoo manages to hold on to the position though.
Magoo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Magoo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Magoo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Magoo throws an elbow but Sheppard slips to the side and avoids it well.
Magoo is looking to take a break and control but Sheppard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Sheppard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Magoo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Magoo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sheppard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Magoo scrambles back to his feet.

Magoo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Magoo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sheppard.

After the fight, Ese Magoo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
