Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Givaldo Torres (ranked 2208 p4p, 2418 weight class) and Ryan Holiday (ranked 292 p4p, 314 weight class). Ryan Holiday has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Givaldo Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Holiday! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Torres. Those never looked like landing. Torres fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Holiday, pushing him back against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Holiday creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Holiday throws a punch but it's blocked by Torres. Holiday lands a hook that snaps the head of Torres backwards. Holiday swings wildly with an uppercut but Torres uses good head movement to avoid it. Torres works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Holiday working aggressively here.
Torres jumps guard but Holiday stands there with Torres around his waist. Torres gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Holiday looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Holiday misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torres gets control of Holiday's arms and successfully pulls guard. Torres will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Torres definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Torres is trying to keep Holiday in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Holiday doesn't defend quickly enough and Torres has managed to lock this one up! Can Holiday escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Torres on a fantastic submission victory.
