Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tomo Tsuru!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuru staying out of range there.
Tsuru moves out of range of the strikes.
Lawson throws a shot from downtown. Tsuru moves away and avoids it.
Lawson throws a hook to the side of Tsuru's head but Tsuru sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tsuru closes the distance and clinches.

Tsuru misses with the head strike.
Lawson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Tsuru trying to control the position but instead, Lawson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tsuru into the cage.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tsuru.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tsurus head.
Lawson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've been told by Lawson's head coaches at PhoQus Island Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tsuru moves to clinch but Lawson breaks away
and Lawson counters with a nice right hand that sends Tsuru toppling to the canvas! Tsuru scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lawson finish him?!
It looks like Tomo Tsuru has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lawson swats away the attempt to clinch by Tsuru.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawson looks to land a right hand but Tsuru moved out of range.
Tomo Tsuru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tsuru has closed the distance and engaged Lawson in a clinch.

Lawson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tsuru is aggressively charging in as Lawson backs up avoiding any damage. Lawson tosses out a jab and Tsuru runs right into it face first! Tsuru is out cold! Lawson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Tsuru's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyler Lawson!
Tyler Lawson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
