Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Longwe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kahn Supernussenbam! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longwe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Longwe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Longwe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Supernussenbam sprawls well initially but Longwe persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Supernussenbam pushes Longwe off looking to stand but Longwe dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Supernussenbam has hold of Longwe's hands but Longwe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Supernussenbam tries to kick Longwe off but Longwe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Longwe decides to stand up. Longwe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Longwe showed some decent athleticism there. Supernussenbam looks gassed! Supernussenbam has hold of Longwe's hands but Longwe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Longwe is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Longwe passes to full mount! Supernussenbam wants to get back to his feet.
Supernussenbam wants to hold on but Longwe pushes him away. Longwe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Longwe is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Supernussenbam is surviving well by controlling Longwe's body position as best he can. Longwe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Supernussenbam is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Longwe controlling the pace for now. Supernussenbam is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Supernussenbam wants to try and get back to his feet. Supernussenbam is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longwe looking to control but Supernussenbam is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Supernussenbam is trying to stand. Longwe lands a heavy elbow. Longwe gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Supernussenbam tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Longwe counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Longwe is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Longwe with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Longwe is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longwe controlling from mount. Longwe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Longwe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Longwe in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Longwe dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Supernussenbam shoots in for a takedown but Longwe shows good takedown defense. Supernussenbam drives through and clinches with Longwe against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Longwe. Longwe stalling against the cage.
Longwe manages to pull guard.
Supernussenbam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Longwe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Supernussenbam wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Longwe's closed guard. He's half up but Longwe has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Longwe pivots and extends the arm, Supernussenbam falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Longwe! Well done that man!
