The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guts swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Baddock walks into a straight right hand from Guts.

It looks like Brendan Baddock has been cut.
Baddock throws a combination that misses

and Guts counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Guts.

Guts is working Baddock over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Guts thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Guts is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Baddock is adopting a defensive guard.

Baddock wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Guts stands and throws Baddock's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Brendan Baddock's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brendan Baddock's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
