The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rowley moves into the clinch successfully.
Rowley lands a nice shot to the body.

Christ prevents a body shot from Rowley.

A nice left hand lands by Rowley.
Christ works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Rowley lands a shot to the body.

Rowley can't find room to land a body shot as Christ controls the action.
Christ misses with a punch on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Rowley as the two fighters clinch.

Rowley jumps guard but Christ stands there with Rowley around his waist. Rowley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rowley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rowley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Christ. That did some damage!

Christ looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rowley connects with a jab.
Christ has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rowley finds it's way round the side to connect with Christ's head.

and Rowley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stephen Rowley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rowley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Christ.
Christ lands a jab to the head.

and Christ counters with a left to the body.

Rowley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Christ looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Christ looks to land a right hand but Rowley moved out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rowley! But no joy.
Christ lands with an overhand left.
Rowley bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Christ moves out of range of the body kick from Rowley.
Rowley misses with a body kick.
It looked like Christ wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Rowley misses with a hook. Christ ducked under it nicely.
Rowley looks for the body kick but Christ saw that one coming.
Christ was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Christ takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rowley looks to throw a body kick
letting Christ counter with a right hand.
Good exchange - Rowley coming out on top.
Rowley throws a lazy body kick
and Christ counters with a stiff right hand.
Rowley throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rowley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Christ on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Christ checks a leg kick.
Christ is looking to counter punch.
The fighters circling - Rowley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A counter left hand to the body from Christ misses its target.

Christ gets tackled into the cage by Rowley. Rowley maintains the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Rowley.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rowley pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rowley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Christ wanted to stand there but Rowley had control of the position.
Christ is fighting to break Rowley's control of his arms but Rowley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Christ trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rowley's guard.
Christ trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Christ looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rowley lands a body punch.
Rowley misses with a hook to the ribs.

Christ's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rowley with a jab.
Rowley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rowley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Christ checks a low kick from Rowley.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rowley takes one to the chin there.
Christ steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rowley. That one must have hurt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rowley. That's going to slow Christ down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rowley. Christ does a little dance to reset his feet.
Christ is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Christ swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Christ takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rowley misses with a right hand
and Rowley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Rowley is rocked!
Crack! Christ connects with the perfect overhand right and Rowley falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Christ!
