Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chiyo Fuji ! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kramer. Fuji tries to bum rush Kramer with a series of wild strikes but Kramer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kramer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fuji to the mat! Fuji manages to get full guard. Fuji is looking to stand up but Kramer isn't so interested in that idea. Fuji wants to sweep here but Kramer controlling him for the moment. Fuji pushes Kramer off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fuji comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kramer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kramer blocks a jab. Chiyo Fuji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kramer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kramer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kramer feinted with a counter takedown. Fuji throws a right and a left that both miss. Kramer drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fuji sprawls and moves away. Fuji throws a shot from downtown. Kramer moves away and avoids it. Kramer appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Fuji swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fuji lands a right hook to the body.
Fuji misses with a double jab.
Fuji misses with an uppercut. Kramer drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fuji sprawls and moves away. Fuji closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kramer quickly recovers to half guard. Fuji scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kramer is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Fuji is tapping! Great win for Kramer!
