Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yohan Sangroon (ranked 4406 p4p, 4357 weight class) and Theo Leoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yohan Sangroon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Theo Leoni! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leoni cracks Sangroon with an open hand slap.
It looks like Yohan Sangroon has been cut. Sangroon fails in his attempt to clinch. A punch combination from Sangroon misses. Sangroon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leoni defends well and Sangroon ends up having to push Leoni into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A short right from Leoni on the inside. Leoni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leoni keeps the fight on the outside. Leoni throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sangroon. Leoni throws a right and a left that Sangroon avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sangroon dodges the punch combination from Leoni.
Sangroon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leoni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Leoni misses with a double jab.
Sangroon throws a big counter combination but Leoni scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leoni throws a series of strikes that have Sangroon backpedaling.
Yohan Sangroon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sangroon fails with a takedown attempt. Sangroon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Leoni defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yohan Sangroon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leoni throws a series of punches but Sangroon avoids them all with ease. Sangroon closes the distance and clinches up with Leoni, looking for a takedown. Sangroon pushes Leoni against the cage but Leoni circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sangroon punishes Leoni's body with a nice straight punch. Sangroon clinches. Sangroon trying to stall but Leoni improves his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leoni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sangroon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Nice uppercut lands for Leoni. That snapped Sangroon's head back.
Sangroon closes the distance and clinches up with Leoni, looking for a takedown. Sangroon pushes Leoni against the cage but Leoni circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Leoni now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sangroon walks straight into a right hand from Leoni - that's dropped him! Leoni jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sangroon from any more punishment! Sangroon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
