The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Maseki drops Semper with a beautiful combination! Semper stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maseki is looking for the KO!
Semper gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Maseki to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Maseki stands up from guard. Let's bang!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maseki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Maseki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You can see the frustration on Semper's face as Maseki controls the position.

Maseki wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Semper is sitting in close to Maseki's body. Maseki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Semper is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Semper is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Maseki.
