Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Dekker (ranked 4454 p4p, 4452 weight class) and Chris Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Dekker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Allan! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allan instigates a clinch. Allan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dekker manages to break the clinch.
Allan rushes Dekker and presses him up against the cage. Dekker manages to break the clinch.
Allan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dekker gets back to full guard.
Allan preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allan cracks Dekker with a solid left hand. Allan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dekker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Allan defends it easily. Dekker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allan is stalling in the full guard. Dekker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Allan is aware though and is defending well. Dekker is trying to control the position but Allan postures up. Allan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dekker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allan looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dekker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Allan trying to control the position from guard on top but Dekker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dekker throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Allan's head. Dekker slips a jab and a cross from Allan.
Dekker stuffs the takedown. Dekker throws a body shot but no joy. Allan feints the counter takedown. Allan misses with a body kick. Dekker shoots in looking for a takedown. Allan tries to sprawl out of it but Dekker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Allan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allan throws a right hand that Dekker ducks under and follows up with a left that Dekker also avoids with ease. Dekker closes the distance looking to clinch and Allan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Allan throws a one two combo.
Allan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dekker is fending him off so far but Allan persists. Nope, Dekker circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Allan as Dekker shoots in. Dekker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Allan sprawls well. Allan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dekker gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dekker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dekker has his takedown stuffed and Allan counters with a stiff right hand. Dekker is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allan moves into the clinch. Dekker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dekker goes for a takedown attempt but Allan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Allan flicks out a counter leg kick but Dekker steps away. Dekker moves into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Allan is trying to break free. Dekker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Allan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allan is trying to drag Dekker to the mat but Dekker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Allan tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Allan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Allan throws a body kick that misses. Allan throws a series of punches but Dekker moves out of range. Allan tries to clinch up. Dekker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dekker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Allan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dekker defends it well. No luck for Allan with that takedown attempt. Allan tries to close the distance and clinch but Dekker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Allan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dekker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dekker fails with the takedown and Allan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dekker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Allan defends well and Dekker ends up having to push Allan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Allan is stalling here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allan scores with a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dekker can't find room to land a body shot as Allan controls the action.
Allan is trying to pull guard but Dekker has him pressed against the cage. Allan avoiding damage.
Dekker creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Allan's defenses. Allan stops a takedown attempt from Dekker.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dekker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allan misses with a punch to the body.

Dekker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Allan breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dekker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Allan counters with a single leg into guard. Dekker didn't expect that. Allan throws a strike but Dekker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Allan is trying to control the position but Dekker postures up. Dekker trying to control but Allan is working from the bottom. Dekker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Allan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dekker presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Allan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allan is squirming around, avoiding Dekker's attempts to control the action. Allan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Allan tries to hold on but Dekker postures up. Allan can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dekker.
Allan holds on for dear life.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dekker misses with a head shot. Dekker has hold of Allan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Allan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Allan tries to reverse the position but Dekker maintains control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dekker wants to control the pace but Allan is squirming around nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Allan fails in his attempt to clinch. Dekker scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Dekker closes the distance and clinches up with Allan, looking for a takedown. Dekker pushes Allan against the cage but Allan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Allan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dekker defends it well. Dekker has a takedown stuffed. Allan misses with a head kick.
Allan feints a jab promting Dekker to slip. Allan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dekker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dekker shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dekker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allan throws a combination. Dekker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Allan wanted to stand there but Dekker had control of the position. Allan throws a big right hand that misses. Dekker is trying to control the position but Allan postures up. Allan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
David Dekker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dekker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dekker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice takedown defense from Dekker. No joy for Allan on that attempt. Allan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dekker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allan defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Allan fails in his attempt to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dekker enables Allan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dekker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Allan tries to free his leg and advance position but Dekker is retaining full guard. Dekker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allan manages to get himself to full guard.
Dekker wants to control from the top but Allan keeps moving. Dekker is looking to stand up but Allan won't let him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dekker trying to control but Allan is working from the bottom. Allan looking for a sweep. Not yet Allan, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Allan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Allan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
