Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Aguilar (ranked 4466 p4p, 2545 weight class) and Froma Lan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Men At work - Down under kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Froma Lan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Froma Lan!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Lan. No joy for Aguilar on that attempt.
Lan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aguilar has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Aguilar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lan.
Lan leaves Aguilar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Lan tries to counter it with a takedown but Aguilar pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Aguilar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Aguilar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Aguilar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lan on the ground.

Lan is trying to get an arm triangle but Aguilar is defending well.

Lan is thwarting Aguilar's attempts to control the position.

Aguilar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lan is working for a submission of some sort.
Aguilar is refusing to be controlled, as Lan sits in half guard.

Lan maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Aguilar could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lan has cracked it and Aguilar is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lan!
